England has confirmed the second round of the World Cup with a goal festival against Panama. England won by a margin of 5 goals. They are the second team of this World Cup to do so. Panama is playing in the World Cup finals for the first time. It was already predicted that they will lose to England, but it was difficult to guess that the result of the match would be 6-1. This is England’s biggest victory in any major football tournaments.

England started their goal festival from the 8th minute of the match. English striker John Stones gave the team the first goal led with a header from a corner-kick crowd. The second goal of the team came from the English captain Harry Kane’s penalty kick. In the 36th minute, Jesse Lingard scored the most beautiful goal of that match. England went on to a 3-0 lead with an excellent curly shot.

Just four minutes after that goal, in the 40th minute of the match, John Stones made the scoreline 4-0 with another header. And at the very last moment of the first-half whistle, Harry Kane scored the team’s 5th and his 2nd goal from another penalty kick. England got a massive 5-0 advantage in the first half. This was only the fifth occasion any side had scored 5 goals before halftime in a World Cup match.

England captain Harry Kane completed his fortunate hat-trick in the 62nd minute. He did it as only the third English player in the history of World Cup finals and the second of this World Cup. A sharp shot by Loftus-Cheek hits his backheel on its way to Panama’s net as the 6th goal of the match. But the last goal of the match came from Panama’s substitute player Felipe Baloy’s Head. This was the first goal for Panama in the World Cup finals. But this goal has only reduced the gap just a little bit. And with this win, England have confirmed their place in the second round of the World Cup from group G.

Colombia 3 – 0 Poland

In that important match of group H, Lewandowski’s Poland must be needed to win to stay their hope alive in this World Cup. But they could not do it at all, they lost 3-0 to Colombia and confirmed their departure from the group stage.

Colombian defender Yerry Mina scored the first goal in the 40th minute of the match. Colombia’s star striker Ramdal Falcao gave the team a 2-0 lead in the 70th minute and scored his first ever goal in the World Cup. Just after 5 minutes of that, Juventus striker Juan Cuadrado laid the last nail in Poland’s coffin. Colombians have confirmed their second round with this 3-0 win. On the other hand, Polish team confirmed their elimination from the group stage with two back to back defeats.
