Winter transfer window 2021 is on the cards. Whenever there is tranfer window, there will be rumours and big-cash deal gossips travel all around. It’s time to focus on such matters.

Time period of winter transfer window 2021

The winter transfer window 2021 will open on Saturday January 2 for Premier League and English Football League clubs. Although the transfer window varies from country to country, but the German Bundesliga and French Ligue 1 follows the same date as English Premier League.

It will remain open for a period of around four weeks before closing on Monday February 2.

On the other hand, Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A clubs will be able to do their transfer business from Monday January 4 – two days after the window opens in England, Germany and France – until February 1.

Apart from the pandemic issues, Messi’s urge to leave Barcelona was the biggest off-field stuff of 2020’s football world. His contract with Barca will end in summer 2021, but the six time Ballon d’Or winner Argentine great was pushed to end it within August 2020. Eventually, he couldn’t make the exit possible back then.

It all started with a troublesome relationship between him and Barca’s former president Josep Maria Bartomeu, who stood down in October. Barca will elect a new president within January 24. It seems like Messi will wait till then to make an ultimate call on his future.

As per Messi’s previous indications Manchester city or PSG was on his list, but recently he has shown some interest abut USA’s Major League Soccer. Now it become a bit harder to predict his future.

Christian Eriksen

Christian Eriksen is one of the highly regarded playmaker of recent times. Somehow, he couldn’t manage carry his best performance in Inter Milan’s outfit like as he did in Tottenham’s.

In fact, Nerazzurri CEO Giuseppe Marotta noted that Eriksen has struggled at San Siro, describing him as “not functional” to Antonio Conte’s squad. So, now he is on club’s transfer list.
