BBC XI won by 51 runs by  Duckworth-Lewis system in the only preparation match before the West Indies one-day series. Bangladesh team had aplenty of preparations against the West Indies before the upcoming ODI series. In fact, the names of members of BCB XI and their dominance in the field were pretty much similar to the original Bangladesh National side, that’s why we called Bangladesh Team. All the regular national side members alongwith Mashrafe, Tamim, Soumya, Imrul, Rubel, Apu had a  great preparation for the upcoming ODI series.

However, before Bangladesh started to dominate the preparational game, it was all about the West Indies in the earlier part of the morning at the BKSP. Today, the Caribbeans went on to the field with pure aggression after being whitewashed in the Test series.

Their first wicket fell on 101 runs. After that, the Windies got a strong base of a massive score with help of Shai Hope and the Marlon Samuels. Shai hope got out on 81 run. Later on, with some free hittings from Roston Chase and Rovman Powell at the end, Windies got a huge total of 331 for 8.

Though it was well known that there is nothing for the bowlers on the BKSP’s flat truck. But chasing 331 runs in any wicket is not easy at all. More importantly, no one might have thought that the national team’s stars from BCB XI would make that targer too easy.

Tamim Iqbal, who came out in the competitive match after almost three months injury break. But you can barely understood that from his entire innings. Tamim Iqbal, along with Imrul Kayes put 81 runs on the board in the opening stans. By the time Imrul got out, Tamim Iqbal  completed his half century. Then Tamim took the charge of the Windies bowlers along with Soumya Sarkar, his another opening partner from the national team.

Tamim-Soumya added 114 runs in the second wicket partnership. While Tamim Iqbal got dismissed as the second batsman at 195 runs, there was a delightfully looking innings of 107 runs from just 73 deliveries stand by his name. He strike 13 four and 4 huge chakkaya innings that did not mean to say that the confidence of Tamim, who was waiting for returning to international cricket, was a flurry of winds.

Tamim fired but the Windies bowlers continued to do the job. Soumya Sarkar Keeping a wicket on the wicket, taking 83 off only 83 balls, the national team was irregularly mesmerized. He hit seven boundaries and six over boundaries to reach the three-figure mark.

At the end of 41 overs, when BCB XI scored 314 runs in 6 wickets, the game was stopped due to the light shortage. Captain Mashrafe, who was unbeaten on 103 in the crease, was accompanied by Soumya. Since BKSP does not have any lights to play in the night-time playground, match officials have to take help from the Duckworth Lewis system to determine the results. In that process, BCB XI won a huge 51 runs.

However, in the match of Tamim’s political return, the selectors have solved the century of Soumya in trouble. Tamim Iqbal, who is the first selection of the opening of the Bangladesh national team, it is a real fact, but to see who will accompany him on the other side. Because of the recent form, Imrul-Soumya-Liton all claim that Tamim would be the opening partner.

  1. Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. But think of if you added some great graphics or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and clips, this website could certainly be one of the very best in its niche. Amazing blog!

  2. Unquestionably believe that which you stated.
Your favorite justification seemed to be on the net the simplest thing to be
aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people consider worries
that they plainly do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as
defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal.

Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
