West Indies strengths
Competitive bunch of players
So far recently West Indies have won almost all the test matches played in their own country. They have played 5 test matches on their own ground and won three of them. They were defeated one time and the other one was drawn. Hence, they are extremely competitive at home and can give strong teams a run for their money. Jason Holder wants to lead the team in the same way as he led the test series. In the ODI series, they got Chris Gayle and Andre Russell’s strong batting. And this attitude will help them to win the match.
West Indies weaknesses
They are unpredictable
So long we saw the strong side of the West Indies, now let’s think of the week aspects. They Lost the ICC World cup qualifiers final to Afghanistan after dominating the tournament. And that proves that they can be brilliant in one game and mediocre in the next. So it is a little hard to imagine how they will do in one-day matches. West Indies should not focus on personal achievement rather than they should focus on teamwork which can help them to defeat the competitive Bangladesh team.

Quality limited-overs players
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Shakib Al Hasan, Musfiqur Rahim, Mahmud, they all will serve as a blessing to the ODI series for Bangladesh. They will be the most important player for Bangladesh in this ODI series. Since they are the most experienced players on the team they should give their 100% to guide Bangladesh team in the series. Other players such as Tamil Iqbal, Liton Das can pack quite a punch, and winning and loose will also depend on their performance.
There is a problem in Bangladeshi gameplay. Most of the time they cannot keep their good playing from beginning to end. If we analyze the last couple of series, we can see clearly that when most of the time they are closer to victory they lost their rhythm and for that victory just get out of their hands and they have to accept the defeat. So they need to fix that in order to win the match.
Finally, as the West Indies are playing on their home ground they will get a bit more support from their own country. On the other hand, the defeat of the test series will give Bangladesh an extra motive to win the ODI series.
