Jose can be hopeful with the recent performance from his disciples. It’s really excellent for the home side to see Anthony Martial scoring twice at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Although, Romelo Lukaku is still struggling to bring his international form for his club. But Juan Mata and Rashford’s recent form is linings the Red Devil fans a bit.
Perhaps, it seems like Paul Pogba wants to back his manager as well. His last few appearances in the Red jersey tells us so. He might not be in the scoresheet, but his effort was flawless in last few matches.
There are other stats that can bring a little smile on the faces of United fans. Except for the 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid in 2012-13, United have won their last 21 European games at Old Trafford.
