Apart from German Bundesliga, all the major European Football Leagues has its kick off. Although it was the 2nd week for English league and French Liga1. But the Spanish La Liga and the Italian Serie A make its way to the ground on this week.
How were the clashes of this week’s league games? Here we go with the summary of this week’s match days.
English Premier League
Chelsea vs Arsenal game was the most in high-voltage matches for the second week of the English Premier League. And the spectators got the heat high-voltage match in the first half of the show. After the thrashing moments of play in the first half, the scoreline stands for 2-2. Although, Marcos Alonso made it 3-2 with a late goal and The Blues had secured their 2nd consecutive victory of this season.
On the other hand, Manchester United stumbled just in the second week of the league. They lost the game by 3-2 against the easy opponent Brighton. Although Pogba’s penalty at the last minute has reduced the gap just a bit. Otherwise, the scoreline would look more embarrassing for the Red Devils. It’s not a good sign for Jose Mourinho as well.
League’s defending champions Manchester City have their first goal-festivals of this season against the weak opponent Hudrasfield. In that 6-1 scoreline, Aguero got the League’s first hat-trick of this season.
Spanish La Liga
Barcelona started the season with a 3-1 goal win with Alaves. And in this match, Barca got their 6000th goal in their history of La Liga. That remarkable goal came from the ‘none other than’ Messi’s boot as well. Messi’s also scored the Barcelona’s 5000th goal of La Liga was back in 2009.
On the other hand, another giant Real Madrid started their new season with a gentle win of 3-1 goals against the minnow Getafe FC. However, Real Madrid’s first La Liga game without Ronaldo was pretty disappointing as per the attendance at the stands. In the last match, Bernabeu Stadium has the minimum number of spectators in the last 9 years.
A few days earlier, Atletico Madrid has won the UEFA Super Cup by defeating Real Madrid. But the UEFA Super Cup champions had an average start for this season with a 1-1 draw against Valencia.
Italian Serie A
Ronaldo’s joining to Juventus camp has more likely become the main topic of this seasons’ Italian Serie A. The whole world was keen to know, how Ronaldo will start his journey at the Italian football in Juventus’ jerseys.
Interestingly, he couldn’t find the net for Juventus in his official debut game. However, his team had a convincing win over the minnow Chievo by 3-0 goal. Ronaldo couldn’t make his name on the scoresheet. So, everyone has to wait for a while to see his scoresheet debut in Juventus’ jersey.
Furthermore, Roma and Napoli, the other two big clubs started their new Serie A season with an easy win.
