Most of the fans will be nervous and expecting a tempestuous match as both teams separating each other with a 1-point difference in the table. Why wouldn’t it be? Because a defeat will make both teams harder to catch Manchester City in the point table.

This is the match of revenge for Chelsea. The Blues were beaten by Spurs by 3-1 on April this year.

If we look at the point table, the Blues are still unbeaten. They have won 8 matches and also drawn the rest of the 4 matches. While looking at the Spurs, you’ll find 9 wins, 0 draws and 3 defeats. They have scored 19 goals and conceded 10 goals in the last 12 matches. Technically, the Blues are ahead of the Spurs.

Surely, Mauricio Pochettino is going to miss the Kieran Trippier’s services who is out of the sideline for injury but Jan Vertonghen is fit and maybe he can play a big role in the match.

Mauricio Pochettino said, “Chelsea is one point over us. But yes, I think always when you play this type of game which is so important it means so a lot for everyone. And, of course, we need to be calm and relax now and be sure that we arrive in the best way, being competitive and then perform in the best way to try to win.”

Maurizio Sarri also said, “They play very good football. They are very dangerous; very dangerous in the defensive phase, very dangerous in short counter attacks. They are a technical team. It’s a very difficult match because we have to be careful not to lose the ball in our half I think. Because they are very, very, very, dangerous.”
