Last night, Man City beat West Ham by 2-1 at Etihad Stadium. Centre-backs Ruben Dias and John Stones were on target either side of Michail Antonio’s leveller to earn City a narrow victory.

It was Pep Guardiola’s 273th match as Manchester City manager. That victory took his winning-tally as Man city manager to 200.

Guardiola hitting that landmark of 200 wins for a single club in the quickest time of any manager in English top-flight history – just 273 games. Jose Mourinho is second on the list, reaching the 200 mark in 309 matches with Chelsea, while Kenny Dalglish did so in 333 outings with Liverpool.

This very night, Citizens help their boss Pep to reach another milestone as well. Pep Guardiola registered the 500th victories of his managerial career with top-tier clubs. Top- tier clubs mean Barcelona, Bayern Munich and City.

In fact, this win was Man City’s 20th in a row in all competitions including 14th in a row in Premier League. Their unbeaten-run in all competitions has moved to 27 games in a row as well.

City is leading the Premier League table by 13 points ahead of Manchester United and Leicester City. In fact, Pep is more satisfied with his team’s achievements rather than his own.

Guardiola said “It is so difficult. Twenty in this period, in this era, with this situation around the world, to be able to do 20 is maybe one of the greatest achievements we have done together in our careers.”
