Nidahas Trophy Final: Rubel Made the Impossible to Possible

Nidahas Trophy Final:

The commentators commented the right comment indeed. Again, that Rubel and Bangladesh lost another chance to win a final of tri-nation series.

Now it has become more difficult for Bangladesh to make “Brand Bangladesh” in T20 cricket. The way they lost the game it was totally unexpected. It was an exciting match though.

Cricket is a game of uncertainty. No one can predict this game properly. Anything is possible here. India beat the team Bangladesh by 4 wickets.

At first, India won the toss and chose to field first. Bangladesh couldn’t start their momentum properly. They lost some early wickets in the powerplay. They only managed to score 41 for 3 in their powerplay.

Then it was a great comeback from Bangladesh. The top positive from this match was Sabbir came to his own rhythm. He scored 77 runs while Bangladesh was in danger. Because they lost Mushfiqur after the powerplay and again there were two run outs which were totally unexpected. But at last Miraz also scored 19 runs from 7 balls which helped Bangladesh to cross 160 runs.

India started their momentum in their own style. Rohit and Dhawan were looking good until Shakib took Dhawan in his 2nd over. At first, Bangladesh couldn’t maintain their bowling line-length properly. That’s why India was able to make some quick runs.

The commentator was saying, “Surprisingly, Mustafiz was quite expensive in this tournament.” Really, he was. His economy was above 9 before this match.

Mustafiz was not playing well for a long time and his cutter was not working too. But at the 18th over Mustafiz, bowled some outrageous bowling. Batsman was totally beaten. Bangladesh was expecting an over like Mustafiz did in his last over.

In the last two overs, India needed 34 runs. Rubel came to bowl the 19th over and made the impossible to possible. He gave 22 runs in one over. Before his last over, he only gave 13 runs and got 2 wickets. Everything was going fine. Suddenly Bangladesh faced the Dinesh Karthik storm. Rubel’s 22 also helped him to score 29 off 9 balls. What an outrageous batting by DK!

Giving 22 runs in a crucial moment was not good for Bangladesh. That’s why Bangladesh had to pay and the final result was they couldn’t win the trophy.

Soumya was absolutely brilliant. He was giving Yorkers where Rubel was unsuccessful. Rubel is giving his service to the national team for a long time. Now we can expect a proper Yorker from him as he is a professional।

We have seen some matches before where Rubel was the hero and was the villain too. A thing he should always remember, “Knowledge is must but Experience is more powerful.”

Not only Rubel but also the fielders didn’t give their best 100%. In the match, the fielders missed some easy run outs. A good batsman can’t play well all days. But a good fielder can save 20-30 runs easily.

No matter Bangladesh wins or loses the match. We are always with them.
