Real Madrid wins the El Clasico at rain-soaked Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano by 2-1 and moved themself up to the top of La Liga table.
First-half goals from Karim Benzema and Toni Kross earned Real Madrid a thrilling El Clasico victory. Barcelona right-back Oscar Mingueza gave his side a lifeline in the second-half but they were not lucky enough to find the equaliser.
The second El Clasico of La Liga 2020/21 started with a heavy overcast weather at Madrid. Rain started to hammering the pitch by the time goes one. Both of the sides were in a good touch in recent La Liga games.

Barca boss Ronald Koeman made some changes in the second-half which brought remarkable acceleration to their gameplay. They scored their first goal in 60th minutes. Barca halved the deficit when Oscar Mingueza converted Jordi Alba’s cross after Antoine Griezmann’s clever dummy.
Casemiro went sent off in the 90th minutes with a back to back yellow. Barcelona piled on the pressure on 10-man Real in search of a late equaliser.
But they were not lucky enough to comeback with substitute Ilaix Moriba’s bullet shot cannoning off the bar in the final minute of stoppage time.
