Bangladesh chooses to bat after winning the toss. They have managed to get 281 in their first innings against one of the deadliest pace attacks of that time. Habibul Bashar played a superb knock of 72. In reply, the host Pakistan got bowled out on just 175 runs in their first innings. Mohammed Rafique took 5 for 36 while Bangladesh got a heavy lead of 106 in the first innings.

But Bangladesh failed to maximize the lead and got collapsed on just 154 runs in the second innings. So the target for Pakistan was 261 in the fourth innings. Practically, it was a tough ask for them. However, everything was going right for the visitors, but one man made the difference between this two sides. It was Injamamul Haque who played a heroic knock of 138 not out and took his side to the finishing line with just 1 wicket left in hand.
