#2 Bangladesh vs England, Mirpur, 2016

#1 Bangladesh vs Australia, Mirpur, 2017
Undoubtedly, this is the most historic Test win for Bangladesh cricket till now.
Bangladesh scored 260 runs in their first innings on a spinning truck which was producing turns and bounces from day one. Then the Aussies got bowled out for just 217 runs in reply to Bangladesh’s first innings. Shakib Al Hasan took 5 wickets after playing an attacking knock of 83 in the first innings.
With such a valuable lead of 43 runs, Bangladesh had been able to get another 221 in the second innings and set a target of 265 runs for the Aussies. Especially on a spinning truck like that, it was really a tough ask for any team.
However, David Warner scored an excellent and almost took the game away from Bangladesh alongside Steven Smith as his Partner. But world’s no 1 all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan had different things going on his mind.
He bowled magnificently throughout the match. He had a phenomenal 10 wicket haul for 153 runs which contains 5 wickets in both innings. Bangladesh got a marvellous victory of 20 runs and beat the Aussies for the first time in their history of Test Cricket.
